A Letter From Our Chairman

On behalf of all the members of the Southern States Apprenticeship Labor-Management Council, I greatly thank you for your participation in the 62nd Annual Conference. Please enjoy all that Savannah has to offer. There are many historical squares, sightseeing tours, restaurants, the River Walk, and other areas of interest within walking distance of the hotel. Please have fun as you attend our great Southern States Conference.

Our conference theme this year is "POWER ", Preparing Our Workforce and Exploring Rewarding Career Opportunities. Our objective for the conference is to recognize our outstanding apprentices, their accomplishments, and have them share information that will enrich all of our lives. As listed in your program, there are many opportunities for all of us to expand our education by way of panel discussions, and most of all, by networking with each other. Please take this time to meet one another and share information that will help all of our individual apprentice programs.

I would also like to welcome in the 16th state to our Southern States Apprenticeship Labor - Management Council. We welcome Maryland / District of Columbia to our family and look forward to their participation in the conference.

Details regarding the Panel Sessions are outlined in our Brochure. The first mailing will go out in mid December. If you are not already on our mailing list, please contact us to receive a copy. This conference is going to very informative for all attendees.
